The law of the Lord is perfect,
\nreviving the soul;
\nthe testimony of the Lord is sure,
\nmaking wise the simple;
\nthe precepts of the Lord are right,
\nrejoicing the heart;
\nthe commandment of the Lord is pure,
\nenlightening the eyes;
\nthe fear of the Lord is clean,
\nenduring forever;
\nthe rules of the Lord are true,
\nand righteous altogether.
\nMore to be desired are they than gold,
\neven much fine gold;
\nsweeter also than honey
\nand drippings of the honeycomb.
\nMoreover, by them is your servant warned;
\nin keeping them there is great reward.
\nWho can discern his errors?
\nDeclare me innocent from hidden faults.
\nKeep back your servant also from presumptuous sins;
\nlet them not have dominion over me!
\nThen I shall be blameless,
\nand innocent of great transgression.
\nLet the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
\nbe acceptable in your sight,
