Holpen is an archaic usage of the past participle of help. So if you are helped then you are holpen.
I like that word.

Sheesh I love this song. It gives me chills. The vibe and lyrics rule:
From tender years you took me for granted
But still I deign to wander through your lungs
While you were sleeping soundly in your bed,
(Your drapes were silver wings, your shutters flung)
I drew the poison from the summer’s sting,
And eased the fire out of your fevered skin.
I moved in you and stirred your soul to sing;
And if you’d let me I would move again.
I’ve danced ‘tween sunlit strands of lover’s hair;
Helped form the final words before your death.
I’ve pitied you and plied your sails with air;
Gave blessing when you rose upon my breath.
And after all of this I am amazed,
That I am cursed far more than I am praised.
I just finished this book by a friend of a friend. It was decent. My favorite quote was: “Utopian idealism is more dangerous than the most cruelly stated truth”
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
“Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”¬†
“For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30
This was one of my mom’s favorite passages. I have been thinking about it a lot lately. I like it alot. I loock it aalaut
I thought of something today that I liked… “Slowly but surely is fast enough for me”. This sounds like a quote someone has said but I don’t know…. also I am not sure that this is always true… because many times I think things need to be done fast… and slow… with balance.
I probably shouldn’t even say this or talk about it because now I will probably be tested to take something slow and steady and I will be ready for it to move fast. Dang… why did I write this!
